This is an old video that was originally uploaded on The Closet. I thought it would benefit more people on this channel. This was uploaded about seven months ago.

Also, if you need help with any issue or problem, I have started a new LGBTQ organization. It is called Project Voice is Power. Check out my last video for information, and this site: http://tinyurl.com/2w7csrq

  • I asked my mom what she would do if my sister or I were gay. She said she would kick us out. I guess I'm glad I'm not gay, not that it's a bad thing. I just don't think I could handle everything you guys have to go through. I give you all kudos and I have great respect for having to handle the crap that the haters give. On the first episode of If You Really Knew Me, there was someoen who was gay on there. He talked about how his parents would verbally abuse him because of it. I cried

  • i came out to my mom and my friends. i cant come out to my dad. i could never do that. he would never look at me the same way. in his mind all lgbtq people should "go to an island and die off" which really hurt me and which is why i cant tell him. im probably not going to tell him until i am moved out and in a relationship with a girl. i know that my dad would disown me and verbally possibly physically abuse me because of who i am which is why i am deathly afraid of telling him

  • You know here's something I must ask. If your folks are that quick to her on you because you're gay, where they really great parents in the first place?

I must admit I've always thought of homosexuality as a bit odd, probaby because I don't think I could be gay even if I tried, but never hated those for it and wouldn't turn my back on them.

  • thank you.. :) you just made my year =D

  • I have to say thank you. My mother is a homophobic person and i have been a lesbian for about 4 years and i still am scared to say anything today. This video made me cry cuz' I know when i do finally tell her shes just going to push me away and I don't want her to do that.

  • I will stand up for that love your vid

  • wow, the first time i watched this i cried cuz i didnt realyy think about what happens in the "real world" ,i take my hat off to the people ,including you, who have gone through anything like this and have still lived with their head held high. BIG UP !! x

  • i just dont understand parents that kick their kid out just because of their orientation ;/ wtf!

  • funny think about parents!they dump you when you are little and then come to your life only to order you what to do and what not.care only about them selfs and what others say,and if you are in a small town with no friends you are screwd as me!

  • Its messed up how parents can abandon their kids over something that makes them who they they. Sexuality doesn't change a person.

I was lucky with my mum she is so down to earth and she's happy coz i'm happy. I new she would never turn her back on me yet it was still hard to build the nerve to tell her but had to b4 i was ready coz sum1 told her first grrr but anyways good video
