What shall I do Next after typing the Hex or the offsets?

For some reason my last comment didn't post, you need to edit the value field of the table after you added the offsets to the table. Make sure you add the offsets as a 4 byte value. Either I can show you how by you allowing me to connect to your PC using remote desktop software to show you on your own PC, or I could record a how to footage using screen casting software and send it to you.

And, how can you connect to me in the remote desktop? IP address?

Yes either you connect to me or I connect to you, preferably one person connects to the other that has the higher upstream limit from their internet service provider so lag will be less of an issue when teleconferencing over the remote desktop. My ISP caps me at 1Megabit/sec upstream which equates approx 125KB/sec upstream, My downstream is killer though, up to 30Megabit/sec LOL. What a lopsided connection...

I used cheat engine to edit the offset which relates to what character occupies a certain slot in the game. I edited the "walking character slots" and "Battle character slots" with just 1 Fou-Lu to do this. You can also have up to 3 walking Fou-Lu's and 6 Battle Fou-Lu's in battle scenes. download cheat engine and use the built in tutorial and it will get you started on how to hack games like this.

every time i play as Fou Lu, i always let him walk out of the screen before i press a button after every battle... i don't know why...

so you changed everything not just the sprite, does ryu exist in it at all? does it all play out like normal and ryu still learns all the dragons? what happens when the game switches to fou lu's side? i think it would be awfully hard to fight his battles as ryu without cheats, the first battle could kill ryu outright because they are monsters that are midgame level.

Is it complicated to do this with CE? I want to be able to have Fou-Lu replace Ryu's battle and overworld (walking) sprites, and have Ryu learn Fou-Lu's moves over time, but keep Ryu's stats so the game will be fair. Is there any way to do that? I don't really care about the face (portrait), but if it's simple I'd like to learn that as well ^.^
