There's a real flaw in this as much as I love the programme - the false arm and the newspaper would be floating!

Victor Meldrew screaming "you bastards" out the window is the funniest thing I've ever seen on tv. R.I.P. Victor- the most sensitive man who ever lived.

it must be hard for Margaret/Annette, not to look at Victor/Richard because she is so used to having a conversation/argument with him, i wouldn't have been able to manage it :)
