My ol' Dad used to do it with his left hand... and his right. Anyone remember when Antill Ranger and later Maynes had two H model left hand drive Macks? Bought them because the highways were so bad that the logic was you could do it better if you were sitting on the left hand side then you could se the edge of the road better. Roads are better so is the equipment, but I don't think Road Transport has got any easier.
Didn't even grind a change. Old mate has got the skills to pay the bills
