Shamus Culhane, the animation veteran who animated this, wrote a lot about this commercial in his memoir Talking Animals and Other People. He studied Mae West pretty extensively as a basis for the Muriel cigar. Thank you for downloading this! I probably never would have been able to see it otherwise.
