I have noticed something. So has many other people. Queens New song with Paul Rodgers C-lebrity Sounds alot like Tenacious D's song Metal
Check it out....
I was in my room listening to the new queen song and I thought to myself I have heard this song before.I Thought "I swear I have played this on guitar hero 3" I thought about it then it clicked. "Those Bastards" I said as I realised it was Tenacious D's song Metal.

Well you all decide and tell me what you think.

  • The two songs share about two notes, thats it. They don't sound the same

  • there are many songs in this world that sound the same because some chords sound the same on guitar and there is not a thing that can be changed about that.

    so just enjoy the music

Queen is legendary and Tenacious D is very talented.

who really cares if they sound the same, both songs rock

besides Tenacious D must be honored that Queen were inspired to write a song based off of their riffs

  • tenacious d beat the metal

  • C-lebrity sounds like a song you'd find on a Bad Company album, That's Paul's stuff all the way!

  • @CinnamonC They started off without Freddie

  • Actually, C-lebrity is very similar to Touch Of Evil (Judas Priest) :D

  • Uhhm did you ever compare Thunderstruck by AC/DC to Spirit of radio by Rush? Did you ever compare the riff right after the solo of Fear of the dark by Iron Maiden to the main riff of Purple haze by Hendrix? The intros to spirit of radio and thunderstruck sound more like each other than the riffs of clebrity and metal, and the riffs of fear of the dark and purple haze are almost the same. Nobody's ever sued AC/DC and Iron Maiden, sometimes riffs just resemble each other so stop whining.

  • That's right , it's not Queen. This is Queen plus Paul Rodgers. You people can't seem to get that. It was a temporary collaboration and the QPR concerts kicked ass.

  • Both great bands, kick ass music the 2

  • without freddy mercury there is NO Queen!

  • Tenacious D killed the metal

  • queen have sold 300 million albums though?
