For my little speedbike "LOWRACER HYBRID" I wanna test a new drive system.
Before I drove with 4 DC-motors, that works great!
The new one is a BLDC motor with 500WATTs/36VOLTs,
and I know that this motor never can reach the power of my 4 motors in connection with the planetary speed hub!
In this video you can take your own inspiration of a aircooled motor, a cooled controller to avoid coil smell and MOSFET burn-off!!!!

Check it out!

  • Hey Chris, have you checked out the little module at sinusleistungssteller.de?

  • @Fnordicus Hi Fnordicus! Ja natürlich, habe ich schon gesehen, voll programmierbarer Industrie-Controller...

  • when are you going to make mine?

  • @universalmoor

That's a good question..... You cannot buy it!

  • Ohh Great ******

whish to see it on a road

  • Thanks! I ride this bike before with 4 dc-motors and I know that the hubmotor never can reach the encredible power! But the roadholding of the frame never change, the seat height is 13cm from the ground and every heavy part(batt, cooler, controllers) are under the wheel center position!

  • I love the body,I don't think I need to tell you, that is the secret to the future of 2 wheeled,3 wheeled vehicles.Streamlining has arrived.

  • @ChrisLuxembourg NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

  • Thanks! But not the best..... A liquid cooled machine is the top, but it needed an external pump, an external heat exchanger and a reservoir with water/antifreeze admixture!!! And another question, how can I get the coldness into the coils? Maybe with a little tube wrapped into the coils, but there's no place.....

So that solution, to press the filtered cool air through the coils. It only need an external radial blower, that's all! The blower you can get in a computer shop for 10$.....

  • That has got to be the best ventilation system I have seen yet. It's far better then drilling holes in the motor and hoping for the best. Great Job.
