So...you're OK with the fact that Gao is likely undergoing the worst torture of his life? After all, that's what communists and Muslims believe is necessary to crush Christianity. How can a faith that teaches love and forgiveness for enemies be evil? Gao, a former communist himself, certainly does not believe that Christianity is evil. That's why he's in jail. He is a Christian. Do you want him freed, or don't you?
No, they should not dismiss what westerners are saying, because more and more westerners are siding with those internal dissenters. I am a supporter of Voice of the Martyrs, and I also support the position and work of the China Aid Association. I signed the petition to free Gao Zhisheng. I pray for his family. And I am a westerner. I want my voice to be heard on Gao's behalf, as do many like me.
