kinda late for a reply, but i think your missing what he is talking about. its true that gasoline doesnt make them much money the problem was that the stations were increasing their prices illegally. gas stations can only increase prices based on what they pay, but they were raising prices on gas while still using the supply they bought for a cheaper price. once people found out their was a lot of lawsuits.

I was in his store this past Saturday, and I told him, I'm like, "I think you're an interesting dude," and he's all like, 'Well thnak you, I think you're an interesting girl." So he's talking to my dad for a little bit, then randomly, in my ear, he's like, "I love you." WTF?!

are you serious? you're picking Nice N Easy out of the whole bunch...Sunoco, Fastrac, Kwik Fill... they were all charging the same...and making pennies per gallon on gasoline. Educate yourself first, dummy. Sell Leather. After that whole fiasco, gas stations now make nothing on gas, they sell it for the convenience and hope they get you in the store to buy something else. Making 2-3 cents per gallon on your 12 gallon purchase isn't exactly sucking you dry.
