@yablabo I share your concerns about the way women dress for the church. Unfortunatelly you can see more and more often even brides with even shoulders uncovered and priests who don't care. In fact it's getting hard to find a wedding dress which would be suitable for the church.

@mom2threebabes Thank you for sharing that. It's wonderfull. I'm sure, if I'm gonna get married some day, I will do it that way.
I also like the women wearing a veil in the church, but I never tried to do it so, as it is fully unusually in my region, so the people would say, I tried to play a nun or something like that :)

Thanks for sharing! I'm getting married on February 18th with a Tridentine High Mass. My fiance and I are very excited!

It's so good to see the bride dressed so modestly!!!

Thank you very much. We're both looking forward to it. God bless you.

The TLM is the Mass of all time. Great Video, I wish my Wife and I would had TLM instead of Novus Ordo. I attend Saint John Cantius sadly enough my Wife passed away back in January from stage 4 Bone Cancer she was only 30 years old we where only Married 5 and half years.
I am happy to say that I am getting married in April with the latin nuptials.

Congratulations! I am sure you will always remember it. The prayers at the end about seeing your children and grandchildren to the third and fourth generation are awe inspiring. It is not the same until they are being offered for YOU!
Also keep in mind that there are special prayers for a first time bride that you will only receive this ONE time in your life. It is a very humbling and meaningful prayer.

I always wonder why women wear so much less than men do...and why they don't cover their heads at the sacred services...

Keep in mind that MOST of our family who were attending were NOT used to the TLM. This was 1999. The requirement to wear a veil was also removed in the 1983 code of canon law. The theological reasons for doing so are still very valid, but on our wedding day we were just happy to have the TLM and were not going to be the veil police.

@mom2threebabes Actually, the requirement to wear the veil was never removed. It was presumed to have been removed because there was no definite statement made on the veil. So, yes, it is still required. But, what a lovely Mass, and how great it is that all those people who were not used to the Old Rite had the privilege to participate in it. Congratulations!

Yes it was. The 1983 code of Canon Law Specificlly abrogated the 1917 code. It is right there if you want to see it. This means that the LAW requiring a veil is gone. The request by saint Paul and his reasoning for it still stand.
I understand many in traditional circles have a hard time with this, but it is true. Every canon lawyer will tell you this. Even the SSPX uses the 1983 code when they argue their points.
