In 2004 Lord Butler led a major investigation of the British decision to go to war in Iraq. The document produced by that investigation is still referred to as the "Butler Report." The title of Lord Butler's talk is "Iraq and the Lessons for Intelligence."

The talk is free and open to the public. Lord Butler had a long career in the British civil service and was Cabinet Secretary to Margaret Thatcher, John Major and Tony Blair. When he retired from government service, he became a member of the House of Lords and the Master of University College, Oxford.
