Nick Stiles wins Sunshine State BJJ Open 2010 - No-Gi Match 1

Nick Stiles won his No-Gi Grappling Division at the Sunshine State BJJ Open on October 2, 2010. In his first no-gi match he takes points for back and mount. He then hooks in a guillotine but didn't have it deep enough to finish, so he ends up locking in a deep rolling armbarback from guard - his opponent resisted a little too long before verbally tapping and ended up with a slightly hyperextended elbow, but the kid ended up being ok - after icing his elbow for a while he was able to continue in the competition and took 3rd. Nick is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu student at Relson Gracie Jacksonville and a Judo student at Judo Ryu Jax.
