whatever happened to old daniels, he disappeared after that louis theroux show, His problem was that when the new kids on the block like Derren Brown came along he was just outclassed in every respect ;-)

Paul Daniels reminds me of Jack Dee's character in Lead Balloon who saids exactly the same thing when he falls victim of a spoof TV appeal.

@FrancisZackMorgan four lions, very good film. should check it out. Morris career was never ruined by anyone he proved the point that celebrities talk complete and utter shite without researching their facts. mission accomplished IMHO.

It's a shame Daniels is still bitter about it and can't see it as a joke. I don't see how he came to the conclusion that the elephent sketch in Brass Eye ruined Morris' career??!!! I seem to recall some recent movie about lions or something, that I think Morris had a hand in?! ;)

I might have given him an iota of respect if he'd just held up his hands & admitted he'd been had by participating in a Chris Morris comedy subterfuge. But no. He had to play the "My shit doesn't smell" card. Not quite sure how he claims it ruined Morris' career though.
