it would work better if they used a larger field of view lens - and moved around a "virtual" point of view inside the actual camera feed. Much like how a user can pan around a panoramic photograph.
This will drastically reduce latency experienced when the user is waiting for the robot to move it's head around.

We are reaching the age movie AVATAR, control by gesture recognition, motion control, voice is really no limit on the evolution of science, take your hand and put under the microscope, which seems material is actually made up of matter, nothing is real everything is illusion, for me the tele transportation has arrived, just look at the angle of today, we talked to our friends in Japan in the future because there is night and there is still daylight, vice versa, hugs.
