This was such a pleasure to work on, however, it and the altered version in paper bag form, took a couple of weeks to put them both together. When I started thinking of how I could be better organized with the various swaps I am a part of, projects I am working on, ideas that I have, client orders, gifts PLUS my home life...I thought how fun this would be to make. I just so happened to have a Winnie the Pooh book with built in pockets, which were badly damaged...got it at a thrift store for 5/$1. I took the book apart, cut the spine from the covers and then put it back together but added more of the pocket pages. The pockets on each page are envelopes folded in various shapes..some have at least 6 pockets inside. I hope you like this. Be sure to check out the paper bag version coming next on my YouTube Ch...a kit is available that has items from this album and the paper bag album at www.RitaHutchesonCobbs.Etsy.com...also follow me on www.Twitter.com/RitaHCobbs and my blog at www.RitaHutchesonCobbs.com. Thanks for watching...

  • Love love love it. Great idea. I have used Little golden books and gave them new life before but never thought of this before. This is great. Great job.

  • @kayearlkay Oh Kay...you have given me some wonderful ideas using golden books, those that are tattered and worn, in my art journaling!!! Loving it....hugs...

  • I love the idea of making your planner so pretty! Takes a little bit of the edge off the pain of seeing all the things we have to do staring at us in the face. ;) You did a beautiful job with this one & I love all the pretty tags. Plus it's reusable ~ as you finish a project you can just replace the tag! Great idea! Also, the sun fries my brain, too. Good thing I don't live in hot place with a lot of sun, right? Oh, wait ...

  • @desdichaedo WOW! This coming from the Queen of Paper Arts!! Thank you...you opened the door for me when I needed direction after my father's passing. I appreciate your words of encouragement and your videos that inspired me to step outside my box of creativity. Thank you...btw...I will always be jealous of that little place with so much sun!!! LOL
