  • any chance of seeing gustav holst's 'the planets'?

  • @TheMuzeak Jupiter, maybe ... if I can find a decent recording to license ...

  • Hi Smalin: I remember you recommended a book in a comment before about the effect of music buildup but I can't find it now. Can you please mention the book name again?

Also, I think if you show the bar delimiters visually that would be awesome. I sort of lose the bars from 3:00 onwards.

    Thank you very much.

  • @boudeyful It was probably David Huron's book, Sweet Anticipation. As for barlines, I sometimes show them and sometimes don't; either way, some viewers are dissatisfied.

  • how long time did you need to create this video ????? (Sorry for my english i am 15 years old and from germany)

  • @GranTourismoPrO I don't remember ... probably several days ... maybe a week?

  • beethoven is in heaven, now he hears this, the 9th, the missa solemnis.

    this music blows me away.

  • why so fast? oh god, why? :(

  • PLEASE do that with the rest of this symphony.. and the first one... seeing how the harmonies and melodic lines work like this helps me with my Listening Quizzes! D:

  • Charlie Brookers theme for "we're all gonna die"

I need this as my alarm in the morning.

  • When yellowstone erupts, im gonna stand on my front porch, looking to the west, and listen to this as i watch the ash cloud approach. Knowing that the united states, and the world, will never be the same again.

  • @CorleytheCantelope Of recent, famous ones? Probably "The King's Speech." But it's Beethoven, it's been in a lot of things.

  • It was in Zardoz.
