It's August 29, 2010, just five years after Hurricane Katrina. The 44th president of the United States, President Barack H. Obama chose Xavier University of Louisiana from which to deliver his speech to the nation commemorating the 5th Anniversary of the worst storm to hit the Gulf Coast Region and the recovery that followed. Xavier, after having come back just five short months after the devastating hurricane, serves as a symbol of recovery, resiliency and determination. In this video see how history is made as President Obama summarizes what happened as a result of the hurricane, how strength and a love for the university, city and region happened to bring them back and why Xavierites say with pride, "It Happens at Xavier!"

I couldn't fail to notice that Miss Xavier was really REALLY nervous (from her voice) introducing Pres. Obama...lol...but I understand her situation perfectly...trust me.
Very nice video!
