  • Qigong is pronounced 'chee gung' and this particular set comes from an ancient system known as 'The Eight Pieces of Brocade .' It was created by a chinese physician who was conscripted into the military and used his knowledge to strengthen the troops under his command.

The exercises consist of eight sets of eight exercises (64 in all) and were unearthed from an ancient tomb that was about 1,000 years old.
