  • Thanks a lot man I appreciate your response. So the air filter would end up down the fender like a normal cold air intake. Will it fit right even if you have the piping for the intercooler. Those are great numbers by the way. Are you on any boards or have a write up of ur car?

  • @rpmchi86 Im "bakerfx4" on moddedmustangsDOTcom. got 15,000+ posts so yeah, everything about my car is on there. Yea, it just runs down in there like normal and fits with the intercooler piping. Im running a 4 core intercooler and piping down there and it fits fine. Filter size will determine how well it fits. Mine is pretty large and still fits fine. Come join the forum man. Tons of great guys and info. Go join, and send me a PM if you need something else or want details bout the car.

  • how did you set up your air intake. i have the stock tube and got a knn filter that is super tight fit it rubs and gets damaged with time. i called procharger and said they are all tight fit. i see u did a custom one. how did u do it? thanks

  • @rpmchi86 That inlet that I'm running is an Anderson Ford Motorsports Power Pipe. Yes, what you speak of is a tight fit. What you could do is cut that hole in larger going into the fender well. You have to do that anyway if you run the power pipe. The power pipe is a nice upgrade from the stock inlet. Stock inlet is small. My setup is running a D1sc at 601rwhp now. LOTS has changed. If you have any other questions, let me know.

  • where is the MAF?

  • @ginomac The maf is behind the bumper between the intercooler and where the piping comes into the engine bay. There was about 8" of straight pipe before the maf which is crucial for tuning. You dont want your maf after bends because it will create some swirl and cause issues when tuning.

  • They might not "make" one for an old school chevy but you could make it work on anything without too much modification.

  • do they make them for a 72 olds cutlass with a 350?

  • @BlackDeath2626 Are you being for real? Thats called a supercharger. If you watch more vids of prochargers or vortechs, you will see that most centrifugal superchargers sound that way. Im running a D1sc and built motor now making 543rwhp. Ive got more vids but they are on photobucket.

  • What is that squel...bad pulley bearing?
