im thinking of getting dreads so i've been searching online about it. and omg have you seen what the inside of a dread with wax looks like when it's cut?!?! it was soooo nasty. there was like a nasty greyish blob in the middle of the dread. i would never want that on my head

hahaha! I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I am on my second set, both of them were started by just backcombing....so I still stand by not using wax! I tried to help save a friend's dreadlocks who had been using wax, but they were too far gone and had to be combed out. Gross doesn't begin to describe the way they smelled and looked.

not sayin you have to use wax to get dreads. matts got some sic locks too, but to each his own ya know? ppl have different hair profiles, and they may or may not want to use it. there are ppl that use wax and it works. but you dont HAVE to use it if you dont want to. i want to get dreads too. ill post up a video when i start on em and ppl can see how fucked up theyre not when i use the wax and hopefully put this shit to rest. atleast i hope.
