By the way, the lyrics "nous reprenions" was used to rhyme with "sur son violon" of course, and a better verse probably would be "we chorused" but you get my drift.
It is translated as Anglais "we resumed". Then at the end "Je m'en vais" is "I am leaving" and the "en fredonnant cette chanson" can mean "..and humming this song." Just some leçons de français (smile).
Noticed Turkish version has the same music, but different lyrics. Who wrote the French lyrics? the music? Just curious.

That dress is not a very pleasant thing to look at. It doesn't match her beauty or her wonderful voice. I hope she burned it that winter for warmth.
