Idaho Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter, in Burley Friday to celebrate the grand opening of Pacific Ethanol's plant, said bringing the plant online represents a major step forward in Idaho's economy and the nation's pursuit of energy independence.

The corn harvest this year will be another bumper crop. However, Sorghum can double Ethanol yields in much of America.
Fodder beets can make triple the ethanol per acre over corn. Farmers need to diversify their plantings, lest we have a blight like that which wiped out the potato in Ireland that lead to widespread famine.
We should end the land conservation bank, it's high time we planted that 40 million acres to something, instead of paying farmers not to farm. tinyurl com/56rrda (add a dot)

About time we somebody pulled there head out. Great job guys I hope the best for you at your new plant. If only the rest of the country would follow. Keep up the good work!!!!
