More detailed description exposing the flaws and assumptions made with radiometric dating, this time including the use of Uranium-Lead.

Since some people are complaining about the source, I'll give you another. The source does not matter if the information contained is good.

"The 238U/235U isotope ratio has long been considered invariant in meteoritic materials (equal to 137.88). This assumption is a cornerstone of the high-precision lead-lead dates that define the absolute age of the solar system. Calcium-aluminumrich inclusions (CAIs) of the Allende meteorite display variable 238U/235U ratios, ranging between 137.409 ± 0.039 and 137.885 ± 0.009. This range implies substantial uncertainties in the ages that were previously determined by lead-lead dating of CAIs, which may be overestimated by several million years. The correlation of uranium isotope ratios with proxies for curium/uranium (that is, thorium/uranium and neodymium/uranium) provides strong evidence that the observed variations of 238U/235U in CAIs were produced by the decay of extant curium-247 to uranium-235 in the early solar system, with an initial 247Cm/235U ratio of approximately 1.1 x 104 to 2.4 x 104."

Many evolutionists and atheists on here are complaining that I said Lyell was a lawyer, and Darwin had a degree in theology. I'm sorry if that upsets you, but it's time to face the facts.

"Charles Lyell was a lawyer by profession"
-Dr. Stephen J. Gould, Time's Arrow Time's Cycle, Harvard University Press, 1987, p. 104, ISBN: 9780674891999

"Darwin earned his bachelor's degree in theology in 1831."
-Katherine E. Cullen, Encyclopedia of Life Science: Facts on File Science Library, Infobase Publishing, 2009, p. 233, ISBN: 9780816070084

Now, it's ok if some of you got upset when I said Darwin had a degree in theology, and Lyell was a lawyer. It can be shocking when you find out the truth. It's ok. But... now you know the truth. I hope that helps, because it's best to research first, before attacking others... otherwise, it just makes you look foolish.

  • @TOproFORthis What is a G-D?

And learn how to start a sentance with something other that YOU if you want to communicate.

Sorry YOU didn't get an education.

  • @gregrutz in defense to kingseho, your comment is very condescending. So you have a science degree. Big woop. You think you're superior to anyone and their believes, you think you're above G-D, you think you're to big to live in truth, eh?! I've got a couple of friends at Harvard if you want to talk to them, let's see what they think.

  • @kingseho The Coconino Sandstone, the third layer down in the Grand Canyon, is from wind blown, desert sands.

We know this from the fossils in it, the type of sand and the type of cross bedding.

There are 44 Distinct layers of DIFFERENT KINDS OF ROCK exposed in the Grand Canyon.

Some are slow growing corals like in the Redwall limestone.

    Floods don’t do that.

Not all sedimentary rock is from water! Like ash layers.

The Grand Canyon proves you wrong.

  • @kingseho The ‘Super Group’ of rocks in the Grand Canyon is below the level layers at the east end. These layers were laid down level, block faulted into mountains [tilted], worn flat, and then the Teapeats Sandstone was laid down over the basement layers. Then another 5000 feet of sediments was laid down, some wind blown desert sands, some corals. Then the whole area was raised to 8000 feet above sea level. Finally water flowing down hill cut the canyon. How long do you think this took?

  • @kingseho Geologists proved the earth was old over 200 years ago. Try and keep up.

  • @gregrutz They didn't know shit, science points to a young earth, i can give you over 30 evidences for it, you have none, you're obviously void of common sense. You're an idiot, obviously any real scientific and historical evidence has eluded you

  • @gregrutz Nice education bro, maybe you should read up how "great" it is right? Of course you hate on kent, obviously anything outside your narrow views is crap, you're a fucking idiot, why don't you research the flood, the grand canyon is proof of it, stop turning shit around, no they don't work fine you fucking idiot, i already provided two examples, the video destroys what's left

  • @whiterabit09 They don't have evidence against it. The dating methods work just fine. They cross check each other in blind tests. Hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and then tell me the earth is young.

  • @kingseho It sounds like you get your science from Hovind and other pastors.. He quote mines papers showing why C14 Dating does not work on snails.

Geologists knew the earth was millions of years old before radiomricdating was invented.

''that hard work equals intelligence right'' No but you can work hard and get an education, like read a science book so you know why Kent is full of crap.

  • @gregrutz sorry I wasn't very clear, I mean if you a person is making claims that these dating methods don't work, then they surely have enough evidence to refute them.....
