"One Call Away" 48 Hour Project 2010

This is a short film that our group did for the 48 Hour Project in Atlanta. Our genre was Adventure Serial. This isn't the version we turned in though. The other one had some sound errors, didn't have music, and it was standard definition. I fixed up the sound a little bit and added some music to keep it more exciting. THere are still some errors to be fixed, but I thought that I would just put the video up. Enjoy the movie, rate, subscribe, and make sure you watch in HD. Thank You

I find it extremely cool. I liked the car alarm shot--very realistic, good camera work. Good acting on the part of Erica--nervous but determined. Makes me want to learn the back story, and what happens next--and isn't that the mark of a good short? Something that makes you want to know more? It certainly got my interest.

Oh and believe it or not, That wasn't an alarm clock, The car really does beep like that when the keys are still in the ignition.

The key scene was necessary because keys were a mandatory prop. Obviously the gun was a horrible prop but I guess A for u for stating the obvious and I believe the description says alot needs to be fixed..

@gungrave4ever We thought we had a good gun before we begin shooting, but we couldn't find it. SO we had to use that crappy piece of shit. We had different mics set up for each person thats why the sound is weird. And the shots where the guy is talking were really dark due to the lighting we had so we had to color grade it in post. The car explosion was the main thing we had to get done before anything else, but when we were approaching the deadline we couldn't fit anything else.
