I live here in memphis and I didnt get to see Jeff before he died. He played every monday night and where was I . Out acting stupid in my early 20s. I missed one of the most soulful singers of my lifetime. What an inspiration . We will make sure this music never dies!

Around 96 I got the Album Grace as a present. I played it very often.
Then sometime later the news struck me that he had died.
Now recently I am listening to recordings of lifeconcerts and I can only say I am baffled.
