@TEKKENBOII Why must you define yourself by what the "white man" calls you? I am mixed race half white and Nigerian. I am not white or black, I am a product of both which is a FACT. What somebody else regards you as is not a fact.
Is white or Indian pure and everything else black? Why must one side be disregarded in favour of just black? That's ignorant.
-
@missygurl12345 Obama calls himself black out of obligation and pressure by black America and the history books of being the first "black" president. He is as much white as black. Why is it not racist to disregard your white heritage and only acknolwedge the black?
-
@hugbugification Exactly. I am mixed race too. It really pisses me off when black or white people think you're being self hating when you don't refer to yourself as just black. That is actually being racist to your white side, as if it doesn't matter. We are NOT just black.
-
@AddyAdore Amen. I am also mixed race/Bi racial. We are NOT just black. That implies only white is pure and black is everything else. It is racist against your white side to deny it.

Who cares about what the ignorant racist white man thinks. Let the biracial individual refer to themselves however way they want, not how society thinks they should classify themselves. You seem so angry and as a black man you should really understand that using the N word is not acceptable in any context. Stop hating on biracial/ mixed individuals you ignorant fool.

Honestly, alot of people under this forum are posing as biracials to perpetuate racism....Because if you were born from a black parent, I doubt you'd be calling other blacks N***. Basically their insulting themselves and their families....smh the world we live in.

In my personal experiances with biracials(black and white mixed) it seems that the biracials with the most dominant African features but have only the light skin, they tend to be very uneasy about being called, viewed or mistaken as black...NOT ALL BUT SOME IVE EXPERIANCED....But the biracials who have more caucasian features they tend to be chill and ok, It's strange because I would think that the biracials with more European features would be the ones who dismiss their blackness.
-
One biracial female who had very kinky hair called me a nappy head and I was shocked because my hair was longer and more soft then hers. It was as if her biracialness excluded her from the fact that she had not only more dominant African features than me but her hair was way more kinkier than mine....Hell!! I thought she was a light skin sista until she let me know she was not black and could not stand blacks.
-
I am kinda neutral about how blacks feel about biracials being black because myself, I am a black woman who has long curly hair and I have light brown skin people always ask me, am I biracial? but I say no both parents are black...so to make a long story short, I can't stand when some biracials with more dominant African features than me or much kinkier hair than mines, turns their noses up at blacks and they look more black than some blacks with two black parents.

@JAYLOVE47 Oh my gosh, I have a friend that's half black and half hispanic. She's your color, but dogs her African American side saying "I'm only Mexican!" and throws racial jokes and comments around constantly! But oh, if an African American tells a black joke, her feelings are hurt! Ugh. Gets on my nerves..
I would not be alive today if it were not for my white mother and my black father, so if I were to deny a parent, I'd be disgracing their gift of life to me. I'm biracial and proud of it.
