New Cheap Fire Steel

I picked up this Karrimor brand fire steel from Sports Direct. For only £3 it does the job very well. If you live in the UK pick one up.

hey Col... I have a couple of these Fero rods but finding anymore at £3:00 is a chore mate,as for asking at the till its like talking to a Brick Wall...(My apologies to any brick walls reading this) but you know what I mean, great bit of kit, add a pack of Tampons from the "99p Store" and tube of vaseline, and you have one cheap and S*** hot fire lighting kit.

i have the same one and lol the same had some trouble with it at first but ow i carry handy pack of tissues and it works first time now just strike it on to some tissue and up it goes, i use it to light my wood stove in the mornings with fir cones cotton pad and the strike
