On March 29, 2007, at noon, Peace advocates occupied the Hart Senate Office Building, in Washington, DC. Their purpose was to protest the Democratic Supplemental Bill that will prolong the Iraqi War for another year, "costing thousands of additional lives." A number of the Peace advocates were arrested, at the scene, for failing to obey a police order to disperse. The non violent protest is part of similar action at Congressional offices around the country for the last two months

  • I wonder how these people would feel if they were BANNED from speaking like Dennis Kucinich and his type silence others? Banning IPs is NOT the way to gain peace! Shame on these posers for peace!!! Shame DK!!!!

  • this a violent nation fuck protesting we need to show force on this dictatorship you call a nation

  • You can put blame on the community or the recruiters but everyone who signs up has the agency and free will to say no. If you sign up for money or benefits, what do you expect to happen in a time of war. Every citizen who signs up knows before hand that in a time of war you have a duty to serve your country even if it is for money or college or benifits.

  • you obviosly dont live in a bad community, recruiters harrsas teens to join non stop

  • Last time I checked we were a volunteer army?

  • I hope you are not as stupid as you sound and spell. I suggest you pick up a paper and read something.

  • I applaud your courage and persistence. The sleeping still believe they can prove their patriotism by aliging with a government that breaks laws and murders people with no conscience.

  • You folks are brave! Thanks for your courage.

Congratulations on the not guilty verdict. At least justice still exists in some nooks and crannies of our nation.

  • Congratulations on the not guilty verdict! Very effective action and thank you for filming this.

  • Bravo to all the people who participated in this demonstration of nonviolent opposition to the war and occupation. And congratulations on the verdict of Not Guilty--congratulations not only to the accused but to the judge and jury as well. Your actions will be a model for more occupation projects this August and September. Troops Home Now!
