exactly each character is a slam/insult on some sterotype of our society. The Comedian is an extreme rightwing fascist who realizes to this death that the whole system is just a sad fucking joke. Ozzie is the evil Liberal, DR. M is a slam on a God who doesn't give a shit about his creations etc etc. No aspect of society or type of person doesn't get condemned thats the brilliance of it all.

@hitokirimasamun In my opinion, Rorshach is a combination of the stereotypical extremeist, comparable to an Al Queda member, but with a much more reasonable objective. We know where he stands, we know what he wants, and that the goal (justice) must be realized, no matter the cost, whether 'innocent' people get hurt, whether guilty people die, or even if he is to lose his own life.
