George #1 Mellow laid back Shelter cat

11/28/08 George has become the most mellow and laid-back cat in the entire place. He is extremely affectionate and will never tire of sitting in your lap for as long as you can stay. As far as coloration, George has a uniqe patch of gray in the middle of his white bib that makes him look like he's always wearing a locket over his heart. You can see to it that your image will be the one he carries in his heart. This cat deserves so much more than a cage, and it's really unfair that so many other cats and kittens have come and gone while George has been here

I love George, wish I could give him a home myself. I'd benefit from some of that kitty love! Annoyingly, to date whenever I've sent your vids to friends who reside in the area, they haven't even acknowledged them. Some of them have asked me to hold their hand when they've gone through their own pet problems. The least they could do is acknowledge the videos, & try to help. Their selfishness is a disappointing revelation. To paraphrase, "The more I see of humans, the more I love all cats."

It is SO unfair that George has been in a cage for FIVE MONTHS and I feel personally guilty for overlooking him and not getting a video until today. While I was working with him a young lady came in and saw what a great cat he is. Though she was still grieving the loss of her 22 year old cat, I think/hope she will be taking him home tomorrow. She sat in the floor and he sat in her lap loving every moment for the better part of an hour. Thanks for your help. One person drove 90 miles for a cat.
