@pedraozinhuu1 Perhaps you're mixing up Ronnie Drew and Luke Kelly, Luke is the best performer I've seen in a while, they're both good, but Luke is uncomparable.

is it not true tthat ronnie drew refused to sing any rebel songs when the war started here in the north?
-
114 people went up to monto, 1 unlucky bastard had the queen fall on him.

Ronnie Drew is the best singer ever.
No one can compare to it.
Ronnie Drew is absolutely the BEST.
God welcomes the good. Ronnie Drew is with God.
-
lol, i bet luke and ronnie went up the monto in there young days and never told anyone.
-
whether it's luke or ronnie in their "own peculiar manner" they always put not only their own stamp of approval on a song but also a stamp of excellance in any & every song that they've lent their voice to
-
i think they should re-open monto.............. langaroo to you.

"The Queen she came to call on us,
She wanted to see all of us
I'm glad she didn't fall on us, she's eighteen stone.
'Mister Me Lord Mayor,' says she,
'Is this all you've got to show me?'
'Why, no ma'am there's some more to see, Pog mo thoin!' "

I can see God letting them have there fun,but who is going to clear up all the empty bottles!

all the Dubliners bring something different to the table, which is refreshing. There are some songs that one will sing, and will, honestly, ruin, but when another sings it, perfection. None of them is really comparable to anyone else, from Luke to Ciaron to Ronnie to Jim McCann, Paddy Reilly and Pasty Watchorn.. They're all different, but they all blend so well together. Thats what I love about the Dubs.
its gonna be some session up above with luke and ronnie together again
