Tommy is a horrible guitarist. Used to be an amazing player, but let his addiction to drugs rule him. Extremely insecure and has no personal direction as far as music is concerned. No wonder why Tesla gave him the boot. Frank was tired of picking up his slack. Tommy, hang up the axe and start picking up the trade in hanging dry wall you dumb ass.

I enjoyed Tommy back in the day. I thought he was a hot shit and loved the edge he brought to Tesla, but...he made his bed. Dave Rude was a great addition. He has the guitar chops, but not the baggage that hurt the band as a whole.
