Barbara's first digital story, from 2002, about the loss of a pristine part of the Maine coast. Since the bulldozers arrived that summer, the historic point ( from the Native Americans who used it for centuries, as attested to by the shell heaps deep within the esker banks, to the fur traders and Revolutionary War soldiers who frequented the tavern --white house in video, to the underground Railroad which dug a tunnel from the white house to the back cove and spirited out slaves on their way to Canada) has been destroyed by development.
You've got to be a fool to not love the Great State of Maine. 140 years hahaha its been quiet for much more than that.
