I caught this show the night it aired, it was fantastic. And it's a real shame that the history channel hasn't aired it since.

Also, I had no idea that Viggo spoke Spanish (after the show I wiki'd him and got the scoop) and with a bit of a Cuban accent to top it off!

Chomsky added that Dr. Zinn's writings "simply changed perspective and understanding for a whole generation. He opened up approaches to history that were novel and highly significant. Both by his actions, and his writings for 50 years, he played a powerful role in helping and in many ways inspiring the Civil rights movement and the anti-war movement." Could not agree more. Thank you Dr. Zinn and Dr. Chomsky for this abituary and your outstanding work.

Man, I wish Zinn would've included more about LGBT rights in his book...it's a great book tho, and I'm not letting perfect become the enemy of good. lol.

Can anyone tell me how long The People Speak was? The copy I saw seemed to end a little abruptly and I wasn't sure if I missed some.

I think the last speech was taken from Mark Twain?

I know I presented some pretty dangerous things as possible actions to take against tyranny in the US or anywher else but please remember I would never accept those actions if they were not first accepted as plausible by the US people under a democratic referendum and we both know how little possible that would be.
