In this Photoshop tutorial from CreativeCOW.net, Richard Harrington takes a look at the camera raw files and the camera raw interface. This is part of a series Adobe Photoshop video tutorials available at www.creativecow.net
You skipped one important point. Camera raw by defaults reverts images to adobe RGB, It doesn't automatically know which camera you used until you set it up as your default. Suggest starting the tutorial at this point. I found the colors to be more accurate if you click the camera icon and select your camera mode. My default is set to Nikon DX-1 mode which gives the widest gammet. otherwise good video.
