"Six Moons Of Pluto"
Music © 2007 by ROB ASTOR
From the Album RAHU

"Six Moons Of Pluto" began as a recurring dream I was having about the discovery of five additional moons orbiting Pluto. I decided to use the concept as a scene in my RAHU story, to illustrate how little we really know about what's out there in the darkened, far reaches of our solar system. Recently, two new moons have been spotted in orbit of Pluto, officially named Hydra and Nix. With Charon (pronounced as Sharon for those in the know), the total is three. When the New Horizons probe locates the others and NASA does a documentary about Pluto, someone please tell them I've already written the perfect music! The number six figures into the time signature as well. I was once given a great compliment about how the music moves in time with the thoughts of trees.

  • Great. i'm so fascinated with PLANET Pluto too no matter what scientific said.

I hope the planet will show surprises when the New Horizons mission arrive to Pluto.

Space is for everyone and not for scientist of the world .Who cares what they said.

  • PLUTO HAS 3 MOONS DRILL IT INTO UR HEAD

  • the god pluto with his servant charon

  • @Adrian206salazar Four so far. It may be the KBO with the most moons! ;-) The main reason it isn't a planet is it can't sweep up material near it's orbit. It's too smallt. Plus orbital inclination - more like a comet and other KBOs (Eris, Haumea, ect.) If Pluto was reclassified as a planet, then Eris has to be a planet. It's bigger Pluto. So, either eight planets or ten. It couldn't be nine anymore no matter which way you cut it. :-) Thanks for listening!

  • @Jrider72 I read that two days ago! LOL I did write to NASA to tell them I have the track ready. :-D
