  • epic.....just epic. damn its touching :(

  • This scene is to me, the most telling scene in the movie, and it's absolutely stunning that it was cut. It takes Angel Eyes from a two dimensional "bad guy" into a character just as human as anyone else in the film. Which is more fitting of the theme than having him be just some walking evil guy.

  • @dan8585 Man... take my thumb. You've deserved it.

  • One of the best music ever.

  • makes you cry.

  • @BryonAWithhonors

Angel Eyes comes across a smoking, defeated Confederate fort and finds many wounded soldiers. An officer greets him and comically offers him some grub. Angel Eyes hands him a bottle of booze, and asks him of the whereabouts of Bill Carson. It is then that he receives word on the fort where he may be prisoner. This does fill in a minor plot hole.

  • @burtonrules123

yet, he was still a likable character!

  • @dan8585 well he was definetly evil, no question. he just sees all the wreckage around him and understands it, but i dont think he was that much sympathetic really. we're talking about a guy who kills the father of a family along with the son, and an old sick guy, and beats a woman unti shes bleeding.

  • @dan8585 Please, what is this scene you say it was cut? I would like to watch it.

  • Who else but the incomparable Ennio Morricone could paint a better picture with music of the American Civil War, with such distinctives sounds? The conversing bugles at the end of this track is pure magic! What a composer!! His brilliant scores have had me praising this genius musician since September 1968, when I first heard his unique music in "A Fistful Of Dollars". Ennio is the best.

  • Il forte is ( The fort) iln English!

  • This is from a deleted scene from the film, and it is a amazing that it was cut, since it brings the emotion of the aftermath of battle. You can almost smell the smoke of the burning debris as Angel Eyes prowls through the fort looking for information on Carson's whereabouts.
