I watch this video every day, it is so sad, but uplifting at the same time. I am with Dachshund Rescue of Houston, and I foster and when I think I can't do anymore or it becomes overwellmeaning,I watch this video and it makes me say, I can do more. This shows the sad side of rescue, but with a positive message. A very beautiful video, well done and please continue to make more videos like this.Doxies rule.....

Only in America can people spend more money on their animals than on human beings made in God's image. This video makes me sick. PETA makes me sick.

I have already had 9 dogs, all of them picked up from the street or from people who got tired of them, some of them puppies and some old and sick. I wish I had more money, space and time to save more animals...They have given me so much that it makes it easy to take care of them.

Still crying, you did a beautiful job making this video. Bless you. It breaks my heart to think that bad things can happen to these beautiful souls. What a wonderful job Southern Cal Rescue does !!!

Thank you for making and showing/ sharing this video. We recently have lost one of our dachshund girls, Delores Claiborne in Sept. 2010. She was with us a two short years. But it seemed like we have had her for twenty years. We fostered and adopted her. I loved, still love , and greatly miss her. We are adopting in a couple of weeks also from CTDR.

@Thana8088 If you only order one calendar, it would be AWESOME! A little goes a long way when it comes to helping a dachshund. :)

@cleatusbemine You said it. Just think how many tissues I went through while I was editing this video in the middle of the night. Almost cried myself to sleep. This was a very emotional project.
