Squeezing sweet sorghum cane in 2011 with a group of friends from the Montgomery County (MO) Old Threshers. This is our first attempt at making sorghum syrup. The mill/press is a Cook Superior No 30. It is horse pulled, but my horse has wheels. We squeezed about 40 gallons of raw juice in around 6-7 hours. Sorry, I didn't have a chance to video the cooking process.
