I recently found this DVD @ some joint for $5. Haven't heard this for years, and it was my favourite from the soundtrack. I was so much a fan of this film and saw it when it came out in 1991! I waited VERY EAGERLY for the video and was there to get it when it came out. Had the movie poster and a cool T-shirt with the great band shot on front and the "Tosser's Glossary" on back. One of the last truly unique movies made. Used to think of it as the "Irish Blues Brothers" for the music anyway.

Had BBC America TV on last week, and a rerun of The Commitments was playing. I had seen the film before, but it is always worth watching again. I was tooling around the house working, and was stopped dead when this song came on. It literally gave me chills to hear Andrew Strong sing this one. Truly fantastic. Why didn't we hear more from him?
