@hapipadi We have the same way of looking at it. While Regine has the range, her voice gets thinner and nasal while reaching the high register. Charice though on the other hand is fuller even when at the higher register. Needless to say, they are both exceptional singers.

Ang linis niya kumanta. She pronounce the words clearly. Yong iba kasi iniiba ang notes para maabot lang at mali pa kung mag pronounce. Siya talaga dinadaanan lahat ng dapat daanan. Yan ang pagkakatiwalaan. Not fake.

Officially, I am going to make a stand : I like both Regine and Charice, but the advantage of Charice is that her voice has more "body". Regine's voice is a bit thin, especially on the high notes. Charice's voice keeps its boldness even in the higher range... and that's just a natural gift. I hope both of them get recognized for their contribution to Philippine music, and both get international recognition, because they're both better than many of the talents in the USA.
