Lotus Notes 8.5 - Windows XP Installation

This video shows how to install the Lotus Notes 8.5 client on Windows XP. At the time of the recording of this video, Lotus Notes 8.5 had just recently been released to the public through the IBM Passport Advantage Website.

You will need to make sure that your computer has at least 1GB of memory installed to be able to run Lotus Notes 8.5 efficiently.

As Lotus Notes 8.5 is new, I have not yet had any of my New Zealand clients upgrade to this release. I expect that this will happen shortly.

My name is Vaughan Rivett and I have been working with Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino Server for about 13 years. I am based in New Zealand but I have customers which I support all over the world.

The Lotus Notes market in New Zealand is a fairly small market but it is a very good one to be working in. Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino Server are a competitor to Microsoft Exchange.

I have found that Lotus Notes is a very stable product to work with and I have put it into quite a few companies here in New Zealand.

The piano is too loud why would you put a piano in your tutorial anyway maybe for an intro but for the whole tutorial.
