So again....Glenn Beck directly lied.
The total quote by Obama is as follows from this website

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/glenn-hurowitz/exclusive-1995-obama-spea_b_9895...

I think that whether you are a white executive living out in the suburbs, who doesn't want to pay taxes to inner-city children for them to go to school, or you're an inner-city child who doesn't want to take responsibility for keeping your street safe and clean, both of those groups have to take some responsibility if we're going to get beyond the kinds of divisions that we face right now.

The video above shows the edited version of the recorded quote by Glenn Beck. Glenn Beck lied AGAIN this time by editing what Obama said.

  • huffington post..??? what a fucking joke.

  • @Ryblueyes The HP had the original quote. The quote was disingenuously mangled by Glenn. If you said something and I edited to say 180 degrees from your intent just 30 words later....that would be lying on my part as the truth of your statement was not told.

  • Thank you Glenn for offering one of the many videos/audio clips where Obama proves his racist issues.

  • @mchub532 The quote Obama gave aimed at whites who did not want to help blacks and blacks who did not want to help themselves. This is not racism but the way it was framed by Glenn turned it that way. Glenn lied in this video.

  • what did he lie about? He was showing that Obama thinks that there is a problem of white executives not wanting to pay taxes to inner-city children for them to go to school.

    that's exactly what he said...

  • Obama's full quote is-

I think that whether you are a white executive living out in the suburbs, who doesn't want to pay taxes to inner-city children for them to go to school, or you're an inner-city child who doesn't want to take responsibility for keeping your street safe and clean, both of those groups have to take some responsibility if we're going to get beyond the kinds of divisions that we face right now.

That is the FULL quote.NOT the angle as portrayed by Beck today at all.

  • This entire conversation is so full of fail and ignorance that I believe that I have become less intelligent because of it. You cannot be serious right now. So you say that the comment only referred to the Rich WHITE man not wanting to help out poor children and because of this context, it is fine and not racist.. and That the poor children will not accept the help either? Interesting.. So you cannot help those whom will not accept it? Guess I'm done offering you MY help then.

  • @boredjoewo A "white executive" should not have to pay taxes to inner-city(whatever that means, you know, other than black...). Everyone pays taxes to the gov't. Why are "inner city" people more entitled to MY paycheck? What if I just used that money to send my kids to school?

  • @ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Big business feeds on political favors granting monopolies and advantages over other entrepreneurs. It's all about influence.

To address your points 1) To call me a "commie" is a stretch.

    2) the "free" system is not really that free -- i'll qualify that in another post.

    3) campaign funds elect government, whoever raises the most will most likely win said election since they get to shape the debate through persuasive or misleading ads. campaign donations come with strings

  • @ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Well for once we can agree on something!

  • @bjorkestra

    1) criminals should be prosecuted

    2) punish the criminals and let the business fail

  • @ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Businesses produce and don't steal? Tell that to the legions of investors who lost their $ through the unchecked discretion of big business and those involved that lavished themselves, with investor money -- and ultimately that of the American taxpayer. That's an example of stealing.

  • @ObamaIsAMarxistTowel "steals less" from the producers, in exchange for favours.

  • @bjorkestra

    1) WRONG!!! , tax breaks arent welfare.

as a commie i know you think in ORWELLIAN double speak so here is a definition

tax break-the government steals less from the producers

welfare- a transfer payment from producer to parasite

    2) businesses produce- they dont steal, in a free system you may work for anyone you like

    3) the american government cant be slaves , unlike your country, whatever the fuck it is, the PEOPLE elect our government

  • @bjorkestra

    1) wrong tax breaks arent welfare.

as a commie i know you think in ORWELLIAN double speak so here is a definition

tax break-the government steals less from the producers

  • @ObamaIsAMarxistTowel You might call it that, but it happens one way or the other, regardless of the aministration in power. That's basically what happened when the banks were bailed out, and other corporate welfare tax breaks and concessions. The American government is slave to corporate interests, because corporations and industry fund campaigns, on the backs of the rank and file employees. The entire system has always been taking from some people and given to big business.

  • @bjorkestra

    what point would that be??

that it is okay to take from some people to give to others??

    newsflash pal, that is SOVIET
