My friend, you didn't catch the GOOD NEWS! It's a bottle of gel that pours into your existing tire, NOT a new tire! I just so happened to need two new tires at the time.
So, if you have a mountain bike with a good tire and plenty of tread, just pour a bottle (or probably part of a bottle) in. BUT I THINK IT'LL ONLY WORK IF IT'S TUBELESS.

@pyromaneak47 Not at all. Just had new front and back tires (Dunlop Elite 3) put on my Honda Goldwing and had the RIDE-ON GEL added to both tires. Took one bottle for the front, and two for the back tire at $14 a bottle. Can't beat that kind of reassurance (not to mention the tire balancing) for only $42 FOR THE LIFE OF THE TIRES! :)
