no further questions and i thank you. the palm gets all that stuff to, BUT by the time i pay for that phone, i've gone a little over what my car payment is for a month and i don't really see the need to spend close to 300 bucks for a phone

I'm thinking of getting the Blackberry 8330, but one thing makes me nervous. While I was in Best Buy the track ball was missing, and I've heard that the ball falls off a lot of the blackberries, which means I then have a broken phone, even if I get insurance on the phone I want to know I'm not buying crap. Have you had the ball fall off yet? Am I better off buying a Palm Pre or another smart phone through Sprint?

This is my third blackberry starting with the the t-mobile version, then the blackberry bold for att&t, then finally this one with sprint. I have not had any problems with either of the phones and would highly recommend buy it especially for sprint. Yes, the palm pre is a excellent phone but I would not skip buying the blackberry for any reason. Plus, on the sprint you get the extra applications like sprint navigation and t.v., which is always a plus.
