I wanted to practice skating as a mascot character.
It was a lot of fun, and lots of kids wanted hugs. I had a few photos taken by parents as well. I had a small issue with a few kids trying to pull on the tail, but I later pulled the jersey over it, which seemed to stop them. The tail itself can not be easily removed by just pulling on it (it has a strong velcro section / belt loop).
This was done with permission from Skate Nation. If you wish to bring a character into a public area to appear, I advise you to get permission first.

This is so cool. I like how all the kids are following you around (hmm, or maybe they're just wanting to grab the tail and you're fleeing for your life!).

I haven't been iceskating in soooo long, I really would love to try that sometime :3
Looked like so much fun, but yes, tail pullers are a nightmare : /

It's fun to do. I had my boyfriend help with not having the kids pull on the tail, but if they can, they will.
