  • Just an FYI, Im in the Military now, and some of the things I did in CAP were very tough and in some cases more tough than some things I do now. Its not easy if you do the job correctly and take advantage of the opportunities CAP has to offer in trainining. Im sorry your so narrow minded, but take your pessimism somewhere else please, thankyou :)

  • everything was true but the food was exaggerated.... the chow halll food is awesome!~!!!!

  • yeah, when your on base or at the academy, but whenever we go on redcaps, or any camping activity, including SAREX's... your stuck with crap. I have eaten on base 3 times for 3 encampments. but I have gone camping with my squadron or my ground team dozens upon dozens of times. whenever I think about eating in CAP, I think about trailmix oatmeal and MRE's

  • Not trying to demean what you CAP guys do, but you certainly don't use maps "for a living". I fully support mil structured cadet programs, as I was a member of one myself, but this video was kind of comical and just a little ridiculous. Keep in mind that this program is an extra-curricular activity. You aren't exactly being paid to get shot at. Now with all that said, as an AD member of the USAF, I certainly wish I'd had the option to join CAP when I was younger. Keep up the good work, cadets.

  • I love CAP but I hate this video, on a regular week i do cap for 3 hours, maybe 13 hours because of a weekend event, while soldiers overseas are putting in 48 hours non stop of active duty. America should not have this kind of sympathy for us...

  • @MrEricenriquez Cap is a terrible Program. All Cadets need to Die. I hope you go Bankrupt.

  • Fuck the false Union for allowing this Terrible Boy-Scout wannabe program to be established.

  • CAP is volunteer....we don't make a living from it. lol.

  • If you're going to make this kind of a video, watch your spelling!! I love CAP and I love the Air Force, and this video is not making a very good impression for those you're trying to reach when you don't use correct grammar!! :)

  • @rpm1096 most airman at Airforce Academy got their start at CAP. To get into the Air Force you will have to enlist. CAP is not military. You will have to go to 3-4 meetings in order to get your papers to submit to NHQ to become a member and get sworn in. In 1-4 weeks you will receive your membership package from NHQ. Good luck I truly hope you join. It is fun and not like the vid. If you have any questions, ill answer.

  • @TheCoca77cola Please do. For example how can I be prepped should I join the USAF etc. after and what will I be doing with 40 plus members in the squad im joining

  • I'm a Airman in CAP and in my opinion, CAP is one of today's unsung heroes who get little recognition even though we have saved hundreds of lives.

  • @rpm1096 Sure. My squadron is Thunderbird Composite Squadron NM-033. I'm a Senior Airman. ill talk more about the program if you want.

  • @TheCoca77cola Ok thanks well I'm on my way there good luck at getting to the Airforce. And squadron im going to be in is Frisco Blackbirds TX-389. Talk more about this with me?
