Halo 3: Self Launching Technique with Chopper

In this video, I will show you how to launch yourself using a Chopper.
It's not long, nor is it meant to show you a place you can get using the technique. This is just a short video, documenting a new kind of launch.

Text Tutorial:
1) Stand on the seat of the chopper (not boarding it).
2) Look in between the two wheels at the front.
3) Throw a sticky grenade between the wheels, and enjoy the ride!

UPDATE: Well, apparently Disney isn't fond of The Little Mermaid being used in videos. So, youtube made me replace the audio file...

this works in Multiplayer right?

I died because of the fall timer. This launch works well to get on top of certain spots in the game, not filmed in the launch. It works in multiplayer if the vehicles are set to invincible, it might work if it's normal, but you'll only have one shot.

But yeah, I wasn't trying to document a place to get to, just a technique for launching =)

Using this technique could you not go in the chopper, with invincible vehicles on and get a friend to throw a plasma grenade at the wheel "gap"? - thanks for replying

I'm pretty sure it would work, I don't see why not. But, if you're doing it in multiplayer, I suggest just using a warthog or a ghost, they work a lot better for height/distance. I just did the chopper for those few times/maps when you don't have the warthog or ghost option. Or, if you don't want to go really really really high (to avoid the fall timer).
