Ugh, pots. :P If you ever see one, guys, pick up a copy of the 1980's book "Winning Monopoly" by Kaz Darzinskis. The 3rd chapter dispels the majority of the most common myths in Monopoly.

I have a best luck story, (from the uk version) my friend was on fenchurch station, he rolled double six to park lane, payed me 175, rolled another double six to pentonville which he owned then an 11 (6,5) to free parking. There was 1150 in the middle, the chances of him getting to free parking with 12,12,11 is 1/993,120 we worked out a rough estimate of the chances of there being 1150 in the middle and it was less than 500,000,000/1

being in jail isnt all bad. in the beginning it is. but if opponents own monopolies with hotels, its best to stay in there as much as possible.
