http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-tornado-jacket The REV'IT! Tornado Jacket and REV'IT! Tornado Pants take the design of the REV'IT! Turbine Jacket and Turbine Pants and put it on steroids. Loads of mesh abound in the Tornado, which flows an enormous amount of air while keeping you extremely well protected. Beyond the ventilation qualities, the Tornado features a 2-in-1 liner system. The removable liner is a windbreaker that can be worn on its own and is waterproof breathable with quilted thermal insulation. The pants liner, which isn't designed for standalone wear, is also the 2-in-1 thermally insulated waterproof breathable liner system. The only weather condition this outfit might fall short in is the most harsh wintry conditions. Any other time of year through a wide temperature range and all precipitation, the Tornado will be a go-to option. Also available in a women-specific REV'IT! Women's Tornado Jacket and REV'IT! Women's Tornado Pants. This version will be cut and contoured to match the shape of a woman's body and designed for long-distance touring comfort.

  • Quick questions, is it possible to wear a regular fit jean underneath these pants? And how well are they in cold weather?

I live in Denmark and the weather lies around the 10-15 degrees celcius. I'll mostly want to use it as a commuting gear, so I'll be wearing regular clothes underneath. I've looked at some other gear, but it's usually bulky and not so pretty to look at, and this set just looks awesome.

    Any thoughts?

  • @DanVikkelsoe The Tornado is definitely not winter apparel. Check out the Rev'it Sand!

  • Is this jacket any good for cold weather riding. I am talking about 0-10 Degree Celsus. If not, which textile jacket will be the best? Thanx

  • @auwda You will definitely need to get some heated gear at those temps! And the Tornado is a summer jacket and might not be the best option for cold days. Check out the Sand Jacket. Better for cold weather.

  • a hi-viz version of this would be perfect. Rev'it! we need more hi-viz!

  • @mrbit10 Good feedback, we'll be sure to pass that along to REV'IT. They always listen to what the riders out there want, so don't be surprised if you see something like that in the future!

  • If I want something more european fitting, is it best to not get this jacket/pant, or would the smaller size range accomplish that? I'm not stereotypical American build and bunchy fit and room is not needed. Thanks and great reviews, especially to someone just getting into this.

  • @jikonko28 This particular model from REV'IT! tends to fit looser than most others, so I think you will be fine. Also, the full length zippers will make it easy to get on and off, even with knee guards.

  • I'm definitely counting on removing the pads that come with the pants. I'm just worried they're not baggy enough to accomodate my A* Bionic Knee even after doing so... And i don't think i wanna size up

  • @jikonko28 If you are planning on wearing a heavy duty knee guard underneath, then I would definitely recommend removing the knee pads that come with the pant. If you double up the knee guards it will fit pretty awkwardly. And you are right - great choice for the summer!
